I wish that I could embrace every minute of the day, and imprint each moment in more than just words or photographs. I want to remember the sound of your voice and the excitement that brings that beautiful smile, stretched wide from ear to ear to your face. Your laughter, and your incredible sense of humor. I want to remember the sound of your tiny footsteps pattering into our bedroom to let us know that the sun is up and it's time to wake up.
I can hardly believe how fast you are growing and how quickly you learn new and exciting skills that never seize to amaze me. These last few weeks have certainly been challenging, as I step back and watch my little girl become more independent, and less dependent on me. 'I want to do it' you say. And so I let you do just that.
'Leave my privacy alone' is basically what you say when you want to be alone or don't want any help.
So more than anything else I am trying my best to be more patient & understanding as you grow into your own person with your own unique personality. As grown up as you may feel now, your still my baby girl.
